Muscari
Muscari is a small bulbous plant that blooms in early spring. It doesn’t acquire almost any nourishment: ordinary soil, it could even very lean, sun or half shadow, watering when rain falls and it is satisfied. Its bulbs can be planted at a depth of 3-5 cm, but it winters and flourishes when the bulbs are out of the ground. It endures the winter even when the temperature is down to -35C. It is suitable for perimeter gardens, lawns with slopes or around trees. Low growth has made these bulbs a dense ground cover: if they like the habitat, they quickly spread and form a lush floral carpet.
