Tulipa
Tulips belong to the lily family. Because of the many forms and varieties, as well as a wealth of colors, tulip has long been a favorite. There are species with large and small flowers, simple and full, then with flowers that resemble lilies and parrots and so on. The colors are white, greenish-white, yellow, and pink to dark red and there are even black tulips. There are very interesting bi-color tulips too. Tulips are typical seasonal flowers that could be found from March in the flower shops. They are in fact the garden flowers, but they can be, as hyacinths and daffodils, grown in pots and flower boxes, and they flourish on the window even when there are flowerbeds in the garden still covered in snow.
